We learn best through experience. No amount of theory can replace the impact of actually living something—feeling it and trying it out in real time. This is especially true when it comes to relationships and community.
You don’t build strong connections by reading about them. The best way to learn how to create community is by experiencing healthy connection firsthand, with the lived experience of having a supportive group around you. When you’re part of an uplifting space, you begin to understand what makes it work—how trust is built and how conflicts are navigated. You see, firsthand, how a sense of true belonging arises.
Why community matters
Humans aren’t meant to do life alone. By nature, we are social creatures.
So whilst self-love is important, it doesn’t replace the need for meaningful connection. The strongest relationships—whether friendships, romantic partnerships or professional collaborations—all exist within a wider network.
Not every community looks the same, and not every one of them is deeply personal or emotionally supportive. I’ve been part of leadership groups that challenged me professionally, pushing me to grow in ways I never would have alone. I’ve also had a group of local friends who made my day-to-day life richer, even if we never discussed anything deeply personal. Some communities provide mentorship, some offer social connection and others become the spaces where you can be truly vulnerable. They all serve a purpose.
What matters is that your communities nourish you in the way you need. The right spaces remind you that you’re not the only one navigating challenges. They expose you to new ideas and new perspectives. They give you a place to contribute and to experience the richness of connection in a way that no amount of self-work can replicate.
How you build community matters
There’s nothing like being in a room full of people and still feeling unseen. Not every group will give you the sense of connection you’re looking for. You don’t just need people around you—you need the right people, in the right spaces.
Some communities are places of deep personal support, where you can show up exactly as you are. Others are built for learning, challenge, and growth. Whatever their purpose, the best ones make space for real conversations, where people listen and learn from each other. They create an atmosphere where you feel welcomed and valued. They offer support—whether that’s through shared wisdom, practical help or just knowing you’re not alone. And they allow you to show up as your full self, without needing to shrink or shape-shift to fit in.
A space to experience, learn and create community
That’s why I created The Enchanted Life Community. My intention was to create a space for connection but, perhaps even more importantly, a place where you can learn what makes relationships and communities strong.
Inside, everyone gets to experience the power of a truly supportive group while gaining practical insights into how connection works. I offer structured guidance on the dynamics of relationships, the skills that help create meaningful communities and insights on how to take these tools out into your world (whether that’s in your personal life, your work, or the communities you build yourself).
Through monthly live coaching calls, online discussions and some lovely, exclusive resources, everyone who joins, gains both the lived experience of being part of something meaningful and the knowledge to strengthen connections beyond this space.
